if you're going to do something good...
Why take a picture to show the world that you are indeed helping poor kids in Haiti? or visiting sick children at the hospital? I mean, what is the point?
According to Brendan Behan "there is no such thing as bad publicity, except your own obituary". If you are (or aspire to be) famous it makes sense inside your little world. In the big picture, it might be disastrous. Such things (when done by the rich and famous) can crate fashionable charities that grab all the media attention and push others to the shadows.
